Lincoln City Police are separately investigating the case where Vance is suspected of the identity theft and fraudulent use of the credit cards, according to a probable cause statement.

Vance has no charges in Lincoln County at this time, said Det. Charles Lane with Lincoln City Police.

According to the statement, the ID and credit card were reportedly used to rent a home in Lincoln City and a U-Haul truck with Arizona license plates.

Police went to Vance's home that he shared with his girlfriend and co-defendant, Charlette Stobbe, of Salem, and saw the couple unloading items from the same U-Haul.

Police detained Vance and executed a search warrant of his home in Keizer, the U-Haul and his white Mitsubishi convertible.
