Marion County deputies look for Salem inmate who escaped 2 days before release

Authorities are looking for a Salem inmate who walked away from a transition center Wednesday in Marion County, two days before her scheduled release. 

Deputies believe Tristen Leigh Devore, 31 walked away from the Marion County Sheriff's Office Transition Center around 10 p.m. and may be in the Salem area, according to Lt. Chris Baldridge. 

Devore is described as a white female adult, with dark hair and blue eyes. She is 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

Tristen Leigh Devore walked away from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Transition Center Wednesday evening.

Devore was serving a sentence for theft, burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card and was scheduled for release Friday. 

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office Transition Center prepares inmates prior to release into the community. Residents are expected to work, either at their own jobs or by performing community services.

Deputies are asking anyone with information about Devore to call the sheriff's office at 503 588 5032.
