Woodburn man charged with rape, sexual abuse against 2 minors in Marion County

A Woodburn man was charged with rape and sexual abuse against two victims under the age of 14 in Marion County. 

Honorato Sanchez-Santiago, 43, was arrested by Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies March 23 and charged with three counts of second-degree rape and one count of first-degree sexual abuse.

Sanchez-Santiago allegedly raped a victim under 14 at least three times between December 2018 and February in Marion County, according to court documents.

He is also accused of sexually abusing another victim under 14 in March in the county, as part of the same case. 

Sanchez-Santiago was taken to the Marion County Jail and his bail is set for $400,000. 

He was ordered to have no contact with either victim and is listed as a flight risk on court records.

His next court date is at 8:30 a.m. on April 3. 

Sanchez-Santiago has no previous arrests in Oregon, according to court documents.

Second-degree rape and sexual abuse are Measure 11 offenses that both carry minimum sentences of six years and three months.
