Police release sketch of suspect linked to attempted sexual assault in Stayton

Authorities released a sketch of the suspect linked to a possible attempted sexual assault Wednesday morning in Stayton.

Stayton police responded to the alleged assault around 11 a.m. near N 7th Avenue and E Hollister Street after a female teen was grabbed by a man as she walked on the pathway, according to officials from the Stayton Police Department. 

Authorities released a sketch of the suspect linked to a possible attempted sexual assault Wednesday morning in Stayton.

The suspect is described as white, medium-height, 30 to 40 years old, with reddish-brown hair and a beard. He was wearing jeans and a green t-shirt.
