Northwest Rehabilitation Associates opens the RE_Building

Northwest Rehabilitation Associates has opened the RE_Building, a sports injury prevention and performance center in West Salem.

Northwest Rehabilitation Associates offers physical, occupational and speech therapy services. The RE_Building will host sports-specific physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, sports medicine, sports vision and healthy refreshments including protein smoothies, the clinic said in a release.

"The sports science equipment available in this building are collectively a state-of-the-art novelty that is not matched anywhere in the state or region," owner Mike Studer said. "We have dynamic force plates to assess landing biomechanics in jumping and cutting, a pressure-sensitive instrumented treadmill for sophisticated running analysis and an isokinetic dynamometer to assess power — the same technology used in NFL draft assessments."
