Power is out in Aumsville, Sublimity

Pacific Power is reporting a power outage in Aumsville and Sublimity that is affecting almost 9,000 customers.

The utility's web site says power should be restored by 11 p.m.

The outage is caused by a "transmission interruption," the web site states.

Affected areas are in the 97325 and 97385 zip codes. Utility crews are on the scene.
