Cascade's Molan voted Athlete of the Week: Sprague, Silverton and West Salem students also nominated

Carson Molan of Cascade High School has been voted the Statesman Journal Athlete of the Week in a poll of readers. Molan had 18 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and four steals for the Cascade boys basketball team in a win against Valley Catholic on Jan. 10.

Here are the other nominees this weeK:

OLIVIA RUDOLPH, WEST SALEM

Olivia Rudolph, West Salem High School.

She is averaging 10.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game this season for the West Salem girls basketball team. 

KOBE WITHERS, SPRAGUE

Kobe Withers, Sprague High School.

He had 15 points, four rebounds and four assists for the Sprague boys basketball team in a 58-52 win against Canby on Jan. 7. He is averaging 13 points, four assists and four rebounds per game.

TRUITT REILLY, SILVERTON

Truitt Reilly, Silverton High School.

She had 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks for the Silverton girls basketball team in a 35-32 win against Central on Jan. 7.
