Community police officers are appealing for information after two cars were damaged earlier this week - just streets apart.

The Staffordshire Moorlands Policing Team received a report a vehicle was damaged in Albert Street, Biddulph , between 7pm on Tuesday and 9am on Wednesday.

PCSO Rebecca Peake said: "A vehicle has been keyed on the nearside whilst parked on Albert Street."

A second vehicle was targeted on Well Street, Biddulph, just 300 metres away, overnight between Wednesday and Thursday. Damage was this time done to the front drivers' side wheel.

Anyone with any information on the Albert Street incident is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 131 of March 13, while the Well Street attack is incident 84 of March 14.

Officers have not said if they believe the incidents are connected.
