A new Argos store is opening today inside a town's supermarket.
The catalogue retail giant is opening a new branch at the Sainsbury's store in Cannock where a host of toys as well as home and technology items will be available for customers.
The creation of the new store inside a supermarket, which has proved popular with shoppers, has also created four new jobs in the local community.
Around 20,000 products will be available to order for same-day collection in the Orbital Retail Park store or for home delivery within four hours thanks to Argos' Fast Track Delivery and Click & Collect services.
The new store will also have a Pay@Browse area with tablets that enable customers to purchase what they want quickly and conveniently as well as browse for products, with staff on hand to help.
Jon Albutt, Sainsbury’s Cannock store manager, said: "We are thrilled to welcome the Argos team and even more fantastic colleagues to our store in Cannock.
"The opening is great news for our customers, who are always looking for easier, more convenient ways to shop. We look forward to offering them an exciting range of products at fantastic value."
There are more than 280 Argos stores in Sainsbury’s supermarkets.
