Traffic is backing up around a major Stoke-on-Trent route due to an accident.

Road monitoring company INRIX reports Campbell Road in Stoke is blocked in both directions due to a crash on the Sideway bridge over the D-Road.

Congestion first started to build up around 8.27am.

The road continues to be busy.

An INRIX spokesman said: "A5006 Campbell Road in both directions partially blocked due to accident and slow vehicle at A500 D Road (Sideway Roundabout).

"On the Sideway road bridge over the D Road."
