Here are the latest cases at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court:

TUNSTALL: Thirty-year-old Ausra Zibergaite, of Mayfair Gardens, Tunstall, who is charged with wounding with intent in Stoke on October 29, has had her case adjourned so she can be assessed to see if she is fit to plead. Her case will next be heard on January 30. If the case proceeds to trial it will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on March 11. Zibergaite was remanded in custody.

TALKE: Twenty-five-year-old Jake Steele, of Milton Crescent, Talke, who denies unlawful wounding on April 6, will have a trial at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on May 14. His bail was extended.

NORMACOT: Drug-dealer Lee Bailey, aged 37, of Chaplin Road, Normacot, has pleaded guilty to possessing the class A drug cocaine with intent to supply on June 21. He will learn his fate at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on January 7 after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. His bail was extended.

STOKE-ON-TRENT: Arvydas Vaickus, aged 52, of Radbourne Street, Derby, has pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis. But he has denied producing cannabis and possession of criminal property and his trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in the week commencing March 18. He was remanded in custody.

MIDDLEPORT: Fifty-year-old John Jackson, of Newport Lane, Middleport, has denied having a wooden handled axe and martial arts nunchucks in Brownhills Road, Tunstall, on March 3. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on a date to be fixed. Jackson’s bail was extended.

MEIR: Twenty-two-year-old Scott Gallon, of Sherwood Road, Meir, has denied dangerous driving and driving while disqualified on June 9. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on a date to be fixed. Gallon’s bail was extended.

FEGG HAYES: Twenty-nine-year-old Kimberley Colclough has been handed a new 12-month community order after she admitted breaching the original community order she received for assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard Colcough failed to report for unpaid work on April 12 and supervision on June 13. Andrew Turnock, mitigating, said the defendant, of Rivington Crescent, Fegg Hayes, has had difficulties with alcohol but has reduced her alcohol intake in recent weeks. Recorder Baz Bhatia revoked the original order and sentenced Colclough to a new 12-month order with a rehabilitation activity requirement for 20 days, 60 hours unpaid work, and a requirement to complete a thinking skills programme.

STOKE-ON-TRENT: Forty-seven-year-old Raymond Davies, of no fixed address, has pleaded guilty to arson being reckless as to whether life was endangered on September 9 and assault by beating. The defendant will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by the probation service. He was remanded in custody.

SNEYD GREEN: Twenty-five-year-old Craig Dutton, of Fitzherbert Road, Sneyd Green, has denied attempting to bring cannabis into a prison on November 8. His trial will be held at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court in the week commencing April 8. Dutton was remanded in custody.

BURSLEM: Armed Christopher Winters, aged 42, of Tellwright Street, Burslem, has pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possessing a firearm when prohibited on October 25. He will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. Winters was remanded in custody.

BURSLEM: Thirty-one-year-old Alexander Rarity has admitted two offences of breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and failing to comply with the notification requirements of the sex offenders’ register. The 31-year-old, of Bycars Road, Burslem, will be sentenced at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court after a report is prepared on him by a probation officer. He was remanded in custody.
