Accident reported on Badger Avenue in Crewe
Badger Avenue in both directions partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident, two vehicles involved at Underwood Lane.
Broken down vehicle on A50 near Blythe Bridge
One lane closed and queueing traffic due to broken down vehicle on A50 Westbound at A521 (Blythe Bridge Roundabout / Draycot).
One lane has been closed to towards the roundabout.
Accident reported near Crackley Bank
Cedar Road partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at Crackley Bank.

One lane closed due to broken down lorry on A500
A Highways England spokesman said:
We have a lane 1 closure on the A500 southbound between the junctions of the A527 for Wolstanton and A53 for Etruria for a broken down HGV. Highways England Traffic Officers are on scene. “
Traffic now flowing smoothly in Trentham Gardens area
Trentham Gardens are now reporting traffic is flowing smoothly.
Lane shut due to broken down car on M6 between Stafford and Stoke-on-Trent
One lane closed due to broken down car on M6 Northbound between J14 A34 (Stafford North) and J15 A500 D Road (Stoke-On-Trent). Traffic is coping well. In the roadworks area.
Lane one (of three) is closed.
Long delays at Trentham Gardens
There are long delays getting out of Trentham Gardens today, with some motorists reporting being stuck for around an hour.

Sneyd Street partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at A5272 Hanley Road.

Southbank Street partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at Leonard Street.

Signalling problem causing delays on trains
Delays of up to 15 minutes on CrossCountry Southbound between Macclesfield and Stoke-on-Trent due to signalling problem.
Trains have to run at reduced speed on the Southbound line.

One lane closed and slow traffic due to accident on M6 Southbound from J19 A556 (Knutsford) to J18 A54 Middlewich Road (Middlewich / Holmes Chapel). In the roadworks area.
Lane one (of four) is closed. There was an earlier breakdown here.
Accident on A53 near Whitmore
A53 in both directions partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident near Three Mile Lane.
Affecting traffic between Whitmore and Baldwin’s Gate.
Traffic heavy on A50 in Uttoxeter
Queueing traffic and traffic heavier than normal on A50 in both directions around A518 Derby Road (Water Bridge roundabout).
At present, there are no reports of any accidents or incidents, could be half term traffic on the move.
Queuing traffic on Brownhills Road / Davenport Street / Newcastle Street between A500 (Porthill Bank) and Tunstall. Travel time is eight minutes.
All lanes are now open #M6 Northbound between J14 #Creswell and J15 #Hanchurch. The broken down van has been recovered.

Queuing traffic due to earlier accident, a car involved on M6 Southbound at J16 A500 (Stoke-On-Trent / Crewe). In the roadworks area. All lanes have been re-opened.
Traffic released by 09:30. Lane three (of three) was closed until around 09:25 when traffic was held.

Cocknage Road in both directions closed due to burst water main between Chaplin Road and Woodpark Lane.
Affecting traffic between Cocknage and Dresden. Traffic sensors confirm the road remains closed. Police confirmed at 4.20pm yesterday the road will remain closed overnight.
