Rapper Example was spotted in Stoke-on-Trent this weekend - after playing a gig at Keele University on Friday evening.

The famous record producer - who teamed up with Takura, P Money and Big Narstie on a track called "Access Denied", was spotted in the car park of the Moat House on Festival Park where he happily posed for pictures.

Rob Cooper, who managed to snap a selfie of himself and his wife with the rapper, described him on Twitter as 'Top fella who stopped for a quick chat & a selfie'.

And the rapper - real name Elliot Gleave - responded with 'Thanks for being so polite. Enjoy your weekend with your lovely family.'

Example was in Staffordshire after playing a gig on Friday night at KeeleSU - the last of his current tour.

The rapper - who has over half a million followers on Instagram and 1.85 million follwers on Twitter - has had three top 10 albums (including the Platinum selling number 1 “Playing In The Shadows”) and ten top 10 singles. He has also done numerous arena tours and headlined festivals across the world.
