Police cordoned off part of a Stoke-on-Trent park following reports of a sex attack.
Officers are today investigating the incident in Burslem Park after receiving reports of the assault at around 10pm last night.
A Staffordshire Police spokesman confirmed the force is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
He said: "Officers from Staffordshire Police are investigating following a report of a sexual assault at Burslem Park at around 10pm last night (Thursday, November 29).
"A cordon is in place at the park, and inquiries are ongoing. Anyone with any information can contact 101, quoting incident number 837 of November 29."
