A fund-raising page has been set up in memory of a 31-year-old Stoke-on-Trent woman following her sudden death.

Jo Breed's loved-ones are asking for donations to The Epilepsy Society after she had battled the illness for 'several years'.

More than £400 has been pledged so far.

Writing on the JustGiving page, her family said: "Her laughter and kindness will live in our hearts forever. Rest in peace Jo."

Former Stoke-on-Trent College student Jo, from Hartshill, passed away at the Royal Stoke University Hospital on May 1. Her cause of death has not been disclosed.

A small funeral was held at at Bradwell Crematorium for her immediate family who are now planning a memorial service to celebrate Jo's life once coronavirus lockdown restrictions are eased.

Her death notice reads: "Jo was the dearly loved and most precious daughter of Debbie and Kevin, loving stepdaughter of Eleri, also a dear sister of Jemma.

"Jo will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and many friends.

"A Memorial Service to celebrate Jo's life will take place later in the year.

"Donations in Memory of Jo would be gratefully received for The Epilepsy Society."
