A 21-year-old woman found dead at a Stoke-on-Trent home has today been named.

Police were called following the sudden death of a young woman at an address in Stoke-on-Trent.

Emergency services descended on Frank Street, Stoke , on August 2.

But nothing could be done to save Charlotte Durham and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

An inquest into Charlotte's death has now been opened and adjourned.

A full hearing to establish the circumstances around her death is due to be held later this year.

However, Staffordshire Police have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances.

A spokesman said: "Police were called at around 7.15pm on Friday, August 2 to a report of the sudden death of a 21-year-old woman at a property on Frank Street, Stoke.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been prepared for HM Coroner."

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two crews and a paramedic officer to the scene.

A spokesman said: "We were called at 7.08pm to reports of a patient in cardiac arrest at a property in Frank Street, Stoke. Sadly nothing could be done to save the woman and she was confirmed dead at the scene."
