Violence, looting in Upstate NY: Protests turn ugly in Buffalo, Albany, Rochester (videos)

Street protests turned ugly across Upstate New York on Saturday night.

Fires burned, windows were broken, and tension between police and protestors were caught on video in Buffalo, Albany, Rochester and Syracuse.

In Buffalo, numerous storefronts had their windows smashed and a person tried to start a fire in City Hall.

In Albany, police used tear gas and rode horses in efforts to quell demonstrators throwing objects.

In Rochester, demonstrators destroyed police cars, setting one on fire, and officers responded with tear gas canisters.

Below are some of the videos and photos from Saturday and early Sunday morning as people protested a police officer’s alleged murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis.
