Urban Air leaps into Tallahassee with grand opening

Urban Air Adventure Park is hosting a grand opening of its new Tallahassee location at 1644 Governors Square Boulevard. Grand opening festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. on Friday with a Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, followed by a special VIP event for local first responders and their immediate family members at 5 p.m.

Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. Saturday and the first 200 grand opening attendees in line will win free basic access for a year when they purchase the park’s Ultimate Pass.

The city of Tallahassee Police and Fire Departments will also go head-to-head in a dodge-ball game at 3 p.m. with the victors receiving complimentary passes to distribute to youth at area parks and recreation community centers. 

Urban Air, a full-service family entertainment center with an indoor trampoline park, is opening a Tallahassee location at the former Sports Authority store on Governor's Square Boulevard.

“Our team is very excited to bring more than 80 new jobs to the Tallahassee community,” commented Shaun Ritter, Urban Air Tallahassee general manager. "We’re thrilled to bring a park full of attractions for all ages and hopes everyone joins us for an exciting grand opening weekend.”

Open seven days a week, Urban Air’s newest location is more than a trampoline park. The park is home to more than 10 attractions – ranging from a Sky Rider, Indoor Ropes Course, Climbing Walls, Lazer Fury, and Virtual Reality. Urban Air will also provide free Wi-Fi and house a full-service café and a parents’ lounge.

Regular park hours will be 3-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, noon-11 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.- 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
