Tallahassee man dead after accident on I-10

A Tallahassee man died after he was ejected from a truck that ran off the road during a tire blow out.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash took place at 11:58 a.m. Thursday when the driver of a Ford F-150 was traveling west on I-10 in Madison County and experienced a tire failure.

The blow out sent  the Ford off the road onto the grass median, where it overturned and ejected the passenger, 59-year-old Charles Gamble. The driver, 36-year-old Matther Chapman, suffered minor injuries. 

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the Madison County hospital.
