A Tallahassee man who’s been in and out of prison for years was arrested Friday night after exposing himself at a busy North Monroe Street bus stop.

Henri L. Hill, 45, was taken to the Leon County Detention Center on charges of indecent exposure and resisting an officer and later released on bond.

A woman called police around 10:30 p.m. to report that a man sat down beside her at a bus stop near Lake Ella, exposed himself and masturbated in front of her, according to the arrest report. She told officers he propositioned her, but she said no and pulled out a cell phone to record the incident for evidence.

She showed the video to officers, who developed a suspect description and found Hill a short time later at a laundromat on West Tharpe Street. He ran away but surrendered after officers found him hiding between a shed and a fence, the report says.

Hill spent more than 15 years in prison on charges dating back to the early 1990s including attempted murder, burglary and drug offenses. He was sentenced last year to a year and eight months for the sale of synthetic street drug flakka and released in May.
