"Dickey was found traveling on North Monroe Street in a rented 2020 BMW, and a traffic stop was initiated," TPD said in a news release. "He attempted to flee in the vehicle but was quickly apprehended."

Officers found the marijuana, the handgun and drug paraphernalia in the car and more pot and another gun during a search of his home.

Dickey has been arrested on numerous drug charges since at least 2015, including trafficking in methamphetamine, according to Leon Circuit Court records.
