Tallahassee lands on '2019 Top 100 Best Places to Live' list

Florida's capital city ranked 54th on Livability's annual ranking for "Top 100 Best Places to Live."

Out of 1,000 cities with populations between 20,000 to 1 million, each city was given a "LivScore" based on points given in eight categories, including demographics, education, amenities, housing and economy. Tallahassee received a LivScore of 606

"Whether you’re a college student looking for a fun place to spend four years, an entrepreneur searching for an ideal place to base your business, or a retiree looking for a tight-knit, caring community, Tallahassee has got you covered," the list said.
