Emerald Coast Golf Tour's Tallahassee Pro-Am Classic set for Capital City Golf Club

The Emerald Coast Golf Tour will hold its Tallahassee Pro-Am Classic this week (June 3-5) at Capital City Golf Club. 

The Pro-Am entry fee of $100 includes golf; kickoff party lunch awards party and prizes.

Former Florida State golfers Bennet Baker, of Chiles High, and Jonathan Keppler are expected to enter.

Former Seminole Chase Seiffert recently won the organization's event in Destin at Regatta Bay.

Professional Joe Durant will conduct a clinic after the tourney's opening round on the driving range at Capital City.

Schedule of Events

Tuesday: Practice round for all Emerald Coast tour players at Capital City Country Club.

Wednesday: First round of play for the Emerald Coast Tour players at Capital City Country Club. Tee times will begin at 1 p.m. On Wednesday night there is a Kickoff party for all players and guests at Capital City.  Great food and drink specials for all players in the pro am.

Professional Joe Durant will conduct a clinic after the round on the Driving range at Capital City.

Thursday:This will be the second round of play for pros and amateurs in the 54 hole event. This will also be the Pro AM day for amateurs at Capital City. Lunch at 11:30 and shotgun at 2 p.m. Prizes and awards after play on the Capital City deck. 

Pro-Am Format:  One pro and three amateurs. Two best ball of the four. Amateurs will receive 80% of their handicap. Max Handicap is 21. Pro Am Entry Fee: $100 Entry Fee includes Golf; Kickoff party and Lunch at Capital City and Awards party and prizes.

Friday: Final round for professionals. The awards presentation will be in the clubhouse after play.

Pro Entry Fee: $700 ECGT members, $795 Early discount before May 22 and $835
