Skai Jackson is using her platform to put racist behavior on blast.

Throughout the week, the former Disney Channel star has been using her Twitter account to repost screenshots sent to her by fans, exposing their classmates and peers for racist behavior, including videos and social media posts. “If you know a racist, don’t be shy!” Skai wrote to her followers on June 4. “Tweet me the receipts.”

On Instagram, she added: “During this sensitive time, I’ve seen horrific statements and social media videos made by some Caucasian teens/young adults. Let me say this: If I see you post it, I WILL expose you!! If you think you’re big and bad enough to say it, I will most definitely put your own words on blast!!”

The response from her fans were swift; the actor later noted that her DMs were flooded with submissions. In some cases, Skai tagged the students’ schools to alert them to racist behavior from members of their campus community. Some schools have even responded to the actor with statements or promises to take action.

“We do not condone discrimination, harassment, or other forms of illegal mistreatment of others,” wrote Rowan University in response to one of Skai’s tweets. “We take all allegations brought to our attention seriously, and investigate them to the fullest extent possible. This case is being handled by administration. Thank you.”

The U.S. Air Force Academy was another school that was alerted to behavior from an incoming student. “Thank you for bringing this to our attention,” the school’s official Twitter account replied. “We have reported it to admissions.”

Several celebrities have also weighed in on Skai's posts. “I am so proud of you @skaijackson,” wrote Yvette Nicole Brown. “The good work you’re doing exposing all these ‘baby’ racists will ensure that their names, faces & deeds will be known as they enter the work force down the line. Which will protect everyone from the havoc racists cause in the workplace.” Kevin McHale also tweeted about Skai’s posts, writing: “Thank you @skaijackson. This sh*t is award-winning.”

If you’ve been following Skai for a while, you’ll know that the actor also uses her platform by sharing resources to support the Black Lives Matter movement — and she’s also has called on other celebrities to do the same. “I see a lot of y’all who have a big platform and not speaking up on what’s been going on in the world right now,” Skai wrote on June 1. “I’m side eyeing y’all. With shade.”
