Community movement

Ronald K. Brown and his dance company Evidence use movement as a way to reinforce the importance of community in African-American culture and to acquaint audiences with the beauty of traditional African forms and rhythms. A dance workshop at the Worcester PopUp is open to all and a great opportunity to learn about his blend of modern dance technique with West African movements including traditional and social dance forms from the U.S., Senegal, Cuba and Ivory Coast.
