Amy Grant voices children's book video trailer — and it gets 1 million views in two weeks

A new children's book out of Nashville is taking off after promo video for it — starring Amy Grant's voice — went viral this month.
The book, When I Pray for You, is a parent speaking to his or her child about when parents pray for their little ones.
"I prayed as I held you when you sat in my lap," Grant says, reading an excerpt of the book toward the start of the video, "I prayed while we rocked as you peacefully napped."
Grant's voice over appears over pictures of adorable kids and parents in sweet moments in the video, posted Feb. 7.
And it captured 1 million views in five days on Nashville author Matthew Paul Turner's Facebook page.
"So this has been crazy!" Turner told the Tennessean Friday. "I don't even understand. I am blown away by the response."
Grant's spokeswoman said the Christian music superstar voiced the book trailer for free for Turner because "Amy is a huge fan of his children's books."
Both Turner and a spokesman for his book publisher say it's too early to know how many copies of the book, released Tuesday (Feb. 19) have sold so far.
But Turner said Friday that Walmart, Target and ChristianBook.com already have sold out online of the first printing of the book.
Turner is set to read the book and autograph copies at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cool Springs Barnes & Noble.
