Nashville man killed in I-840 crash in Williamson County

The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed the death of a Nashville man, who died on Interstate 840 in Williamson County. 

The accident shutdown two lanes of the interstate on Wednesday morning. THP confirmed that Ivan Jimenez, 45, of Nashville, died on impact, according to the incident report. 

Jimenez died when he hit the back of freight liner truck going at a reduced speed. Both were driving westbound. 

No charges in the accident are anticipated, according to the incident report.
