Grace Chapel opening Fairview church location

Grace Chapel provides bus service to Fairview area youth to attend Wednesday evening services and activities.

Around 900 members of the Fairview community make the trip every week to attend services at Grace Chapel, a non-denominational church in Franklin, pastored by Steve Berger.

Church staff said parents’ difficulty in transporting children to the church on weeknights led to the start of busing Fairview children from the local Dirt Cheap parking lot to attend services.

Grace Chapel initiated ‘Fairview Connect’ a women’s ministry group.

Involvement from the Fairview community grew, leading to women’s ministries, Bible studies and life groups in the area, according to church leaders.

With that community growth, the church is now launching a church in Fairview, with services beginning Aug. 11. Sunday services will be held at Fairview Middle School and the church will be pastored by Ian Gilchrist, a seasoned pastor from Grace Chapel.

The Gilchrist family (Ian, Amanda and their four kids) recently moved to Fairview and are leading and growing the new Grace Chapel Fairview.

The Gilchrist family (Ian, wife Amanda and four kids) recently moved to Fairview and have started building a foundation of community through weekly small group gatherings.

Grace Chapel Franklin has been hosting bible study and life groups in Fairview.

“We've seen such a benefit and blessing from the city of Fairview that we want to come and join that community,” Gilchrist said.
