Friday’s Battle of 840 kicks off Fairview High football season
The Fairview High School football season will officially open this Friday night at 7 p.m. as the Yellow Jackets take on cross-county rival the Page High Patriots in the annual Battle of 840.
The Jackets had several of their powerhouse players graduate including Brock Harris QB, Jackson Clevenger OL, Kam Harris Luck WR, Hiller Gray C, and Blake Russell WR.
One of the big questions for this season, “Will Fairview have a third consecutive Class 3A Mr. Football finalist after Darius James was honored in 2017 and Kam Harris-Lusk in 2018?” - What do you say Jackets?
50 questions before the 2019 football season
Tom Kreager at the Nashville Tennessean recently published his Nashville area high school football top lists of returning players for 2019. Fairview players were on two of the five lists.
Logan Parsons, a Senior, made the list of Top 15 Linebackers returning in 2019. Parsons recorded 105 tackles and had six sacks in 2018.
Logan Nardozzi, a Junior, made the list of Top 15 Running Backs returning in 2019. Nardozzi rushed for 1,265 yards on 134 carries and scored nine touchdowns.
Other players to watch that are returning to the 2019 Jacket's lineup include Skyler Wilson K, and Connor Lindsey OL.
Parking Reminder
Parking at Fairview High School in the lot off Highway 100 will be $10 a car while space is available. Fans can purchase a VIP season pass for $50 which will include all post season and regular games.
The FHS JROTC will be managing and directing parking at the high school.
Admission and Season Passes
Admission to all regular season games is $6 per person. Football fans can buy online tickets and passes at https://gofan.co/fairviewyellowjackets or with the GoFan app.
Student athletes can purchase a Student Athletic Fee/ Pass, good for the entire 2019-20 year for $100. The Students Non-Athlete Pass is $50. These passes cover all athletic events at the school with the exception of TSSAA post season tournaments or playoffs.
Student passes are also available through the school website online payment https://osp.osmsinc.com/WilliamsonTN/ , the student will have to get a pass from FHS Athletic Director Ricky Jones.
Football fans can buy a 2019 Individual Pass for $25 while a Family Pass is $75.
