Reggie Grimes II, top 2020 football prospect in Tennessee, sets college decision date

The top college football prospect in Tennessee has set the date he'll announce his college.

Ravenwood senior Reggie Grimes II, the No. 1 college football prospect in Tennessee for 2020 according to the 247Sports Composite, announced on Twitter that he will announce his college destination on Nov. 2.

That would be the day after the end of the high school football regular season.

Grimes' top six teams are Alabama, Florida State, LSU, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Grimes, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end/linebacker, is the No. 31 overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite.

He had 48 tackles with three for loss and an interception at Mt. Juliet in 2018 before transferring to Ravenwood after the school year. He is currently ruled ineligible by the TSSAA because of transfer rules.
