This is the Maryland Minute, a short story followed by a roundup of Terps-related news.

Lila Bromberg / Testudo Times

Maryland football’s road game against Minnesota this Saturday will be broadcasted on ESPN at 3:30 p.m., the network announced late Saturday.

The Terps have won their last two matchups against the Golden Gophers, including a 42-13 blowout last season, but enter as big underdogs this time around.

Minnesota boasts a 7-0 record and comes into the matchup after moving up to the No. 17 team in the country in this week’s AP Top 25.

Maryland has lost two consecutive games and will hope to get back in the win column with a big upset on national television, though its chances look pretty slim right now.
