Tahoe-based freeskier Josh Daiek is certainly not known for timid skiing or backing away from things because they are “too big.” Instead, he’s the kind of guy who goes full-out every time he shows up on the mountain with skis on his feet. His latest clip, filmed at some point last year, is a testament to that mentality.

Here’s what Daiek has to say about the mental jump:
I'm typically not one to "claim" but I'm pretty sure it’s the biggest road gap ever hit/landed on a pair of skis. I measured the cliff to the highway at just over 90 feet! Add 10' of base to the top (take off) and the landing, 20' below the road elevation, and you've got yourself a drop that's well over 100 feet! Distance traveled from take-off to landing was roughly 150 feet, definitely the biggest air I've landed, period!
