Most popular baby names revealed
JACK and Olivia have been confirmed as the most popular baby names in Renfrewshire in 2018.
The National Records of Scotland yesterday published the final list of all names given to babies across the country last year.
In Renfrewshire, a total of 18 baby boys were named Jack, while 20 newborn girls were given the name Olivia.
Other names which proved popular for boys in the area included Finn, Harris, Alfie and Lucas, while the most common girls names featured Emily, Jessica, Isla, Grace and Sophie.
The list also revealed some unusual names given to Scottish babies, including one boy called Awesome and a girl named Adora-Belle.
