DETECTIVES want to track down a suspect in connection with an attack on a woman at her home.
The woman reported being the victim of coercive and controlling behaviour and said she was assaulted in Portslade.
She suffered cuts and bruises to her face, while her clothes were also damaged, officers said.
Police say they want to interview Leon Chart, 40, in connection with the alleged offences, and on suspicion of criminal damage at the address and witness intimidation. He is 6ft tall and white, and has worked as a handyman in Brighton and Hove.
Detective Constable Tracey Dixon of the Brighton Safeguarding Investigations Unit said; “If you see Chart, or know where he is, do not approach him but contact us right away on 999.”
