It happens to the best of us – slipping off a chair, then trying to smooth it over in the hope no one was looking.
Unfortunately, if you’re an MSP at the high profile Scottish government budget debate, a gaffe like that is bound to be noticed as Roseanna Cunningham found out earlier.
The Perthshire South and Kinross-shire MSP took a tumble whilst appearing to laugh or gesticulate at depute leader of the Scottish Conservatives Murdo Fraser during his impassioned response to the budget deal.

The debate threatened to descend into a Benny Hill-esque farce as First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was captured on camera laughing at her SNP colleague’s antics, along with others.
