Personally I’m still pissed about the loss at Nebraska, that was a squandered opportunity by the Gophers with a poor effort. But I digress. Today they have a chance to get back in the win column with Indiana coming to the Barn. Can they get it done?

KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Run some offense - Believe it or not, Indian’s offense is worse than ours, but they have a decent defense. All season our lack of offense has been an issue, but this is a home a game and we absolutely have to find a way to score points. Very vague, but offense has to be

Stop Langford - Indiana’s leading scorer matched up with Coffey should be a fun one. But don’t let him go off.

Consistent effort please - I’m tired of games with stretches of being lazy with the ball and bad possessions on offense. I don’t expect a complete game, but we just can’t have long lapses. Go on a run and then keep going.

PREDICTION

Indiana is on a bad streak as well having lost 9 of 10 games, but I fear this is more likely to be a game where we give them some life and let them get back on track. The most winable home game left on the schedule and the Gophers cannot let that happen. This HAS to be a win.

I think it’ll be a win, but I’m not all that confident in this prediction.
