BISMARCK - In its season finale at Bismarck, on ‘Stick it to Cancer’ night, the Dickinson High girls hockey team fell 3-0.

Highlighting the evening for the Midgets, senior goaltender Baylee Kram made season-high 61 saves as the Blizzard pummeled her with 64 shots.

Kram stopped all 14 she saw in the first frame, but let two by in the second period. With assists from Madison Brown and sophomore forward Riley Ball, junior attacker Jordyn Kisse scored a power-play goal three minutes and 31 seconds into the second period. Fifty seconds earlier, Midgets junior defender Taia Klaman was whistled for tripping.

Three minutes later, junior forward Kenley Anderson put one past Kram with a helper from Brown and Kisse. Completing a three-point game, Kisse had the secondary assist on Ball’s third-period score, with Brown collecting the primary assist.

The Midgets (10-9, 8-7 ND) put up eight shots on Blizzard (15-3-3, 15-1-2 ND) junior netminder Skylar Ackerman and committed six penalties, four of which occured in the middle stanza.
