Henderson County Fair fun ahead: Pro wrestling, tractor pulls, vocal contest, donkey ball and more!

HENDERSON, Ky. - The 2019 Henderson County Fair's month of activities got under way over the weekend with a two-day professional rodeo, and an incredible lineup of fun is on tap for this coming weekend.

Fair Board Vice President Louis Weber explained that this is the second year of having scattered weekends of events -- instead of one solid week -- for the yearly Henderson County Fair.

It "gives families more time to plan and come out and enjoy themselves at different events" throughout the month of July, he said.

Next up is Henderson County Fair "Dirt Days" on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, at the Henderson County Fairgrounds off Airline Road at 338 Sam Ball Way.

Admission is $5 per person at the gate each day and concessions will be available.

Events and attractions will include a big pro wrestling event that organizers say has drawn lots of local interest as well as donkey softball, a vocal talent show, a car show, a truck show, a petting zoo both days, human foosball, mud volleyball, a chicken egg hunt, a bounce house, 3-on-3 basketball, pedal tractor pulls for kids on Friday, antique and garden tractor pulls on Saturday, and more.
