HENDERSON, Ky. – In case you didn’t get enough fireworks during last week’s Fourth of July celebrations, the Henderson Flash baseball team will offer a free fireworks show Saturday night after its doubleheader at B.T. Wayne Field.

The collegiate summer baseball team postponed its Fourth of July fireworks show originally scheduled for last Thursday when its game with Paducah was canceled because of wet field conditions. The fireworks were rescheduled to follow Saturday’s games with the Muhlenberg County Stallions.

The games, which begin at 4 p.m., will also be City High Throwback Jersey Night. Players will be wearing throwback jerseys honoring the team’s namesake, the City High Flash. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the night with proceeds benefitting the Barret-Henderson High School Alumni Association’s scholarship fund.

Admission to the game $5.
