Ongole: The new executive body for the Ongole chapter of Andhra Pradesh Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries took oath in the grand programme held here on Sunday.
Minister for Forests, Environment, Science and Technology Sidda Raghava Rao, MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao, APFCCI president Vakkalagadda Bhaskara Rao, and others also participated in the program and wished the new president Tatavarti Vasu, secretary Paduchudi Ramaswami and other members of the body all success.
The minister said that the state government was extending all coordination to the merchants and was ready to support them in resolving their issues.
He asked the merchants to work for the common development by putting aside all differences and become part in the development of the state.
