Siddipet: Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts Commissioner Rajeev Sharma praised that Telangana has been promoting handlooms in a novel way. He visited the town on Friday and examined the way 'Gollabhama' saris were weaved.
He appreciated the government for geotagging the products for the first time in the country and said his state would also emulate the methods followed by Telangana State.
He said an agreement was signed between the two states on mutual export of Gollabhama and Mriganayani saris and that is why he was here to know about the production of local brand. DD Venkatesharlu and local weavers accompanied him.
