Next time, an idol of yours is in town, don’t pass up the opportunity to rub shoulders with him/her. Co-working and networking platform B-Hub’s ongoing ‘When in Trivandrum’ series offers you a chance to meet reputed personalities and interact with them to learn about their success stories.

“Many eminent persons visiting the city for professional purposes or as tourists often go unnoticed. They may be investors, mentors, artistes or entrepreneurs. The idea behind ‘When in Trivandrum’ is to help them connect with residents here,” says Jongee Chandy, an organiser with B-hub.

Launched last November, ‘When in Trivandrum’ has seen luminaries such as Zachariah George, co-founder of Startupbootcamp Africa, Devie Mohan, financial technology analyst and business influencer based out of London, Bian Li, entrepreneur and founder of The Hungry Lab among others, speak about themselves and their accomplishments in their respective area of expertise. The upcoming session at 11 am this Saturday will see South Indian actor Mamta Mohandas speak about her journey, battle with cancer and life on and off the silver screen.

“When in Trivandrum is also a platform to network with people working in the same industry or sharing common interests, thus facilitating exchange of ideas. We hope that such leaders can open up new vistas for those aiming for a career in a particular field,” says Jongee.

The sessions are held at B-Hub, Mar Ivanios Vidya Nagar, Nalanchira. Participants should log onto www.bhubglobal.com for schedules and registration.
