Police Scotland said the pensioner was hit by a quad bike
A MAN has been charged in connection with a fatal accident in Glasgow.
Margaret Meldrum, 75, died at the scene of the crash in Millbrix Avenue, Knightswood, which happened shortly after 3pm on Saturday July 13 last year.
Police Scotland said the pensioner was hit by a quad bike which mounted the pavement.
The force said on Tuesday that a 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with her death, and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday June 26.
