A FESTIVAL aimed at helping people find their creative side is heading to the North-East next month.

The Big Draw Festival takes place in Durham on Saturday, October 20, between 1pm and 4pm.

Durham Sixth Form Centre is hosting the event, which will including hands-on sessions led by artists and the chance to try out different art.

Ruth Robinson, from the Sixth Form Centre, said: “Come rain or shine, there’ll be something for everyone, small activities, big activities, short and long, indoor and outdoor, messy and not-so-messy, individual, family and group.

“With a hands-on, artist-led print session from Theresa Easton, drawing robots, free-drawing, a messy-play BALTIC freelance artist workshop as well as a host of other play- inspired activities, and a guest appearance from The Big Draw director, Kate Mason, this event is not to be missed.”
