A BROADBAND provider has gone down in some parts of the North-East and North Yorkshire leaving customers without internet and telephone calls.
Sky Broadband has reported issues across the region with parts of County Durham, Teesside, South Tyneside and Sunderland affected by the outage.
According to Down Detector, which monitors broadband outages across the UK, problems at Sky were first reported at around 12.30am.

On social media, Sky Broadband customers were left frustrated by the second reported region-wide outage in three weeks.
How are you supposed to work when #skybroadband keeps kicking you out every 15 minutes. Last couple of days has been ridiculous.
