Arrow freshmen blanked by Harrisburg

Harrisburg used two fourth-quarter touchdowns to nail down a 19-0 freshmen football victory over Watertown on Thursday at Allen Mitchell Field.

The Tigers scored in the first quarter and led only 7-0 heading into the final period.

Mack Johnson rushed for 68 yards on 10 carries and Macaffery Young 30 on eight for Watertown. Evan Hamre completed two of seven passes for 15 yards. Ben Althoff had one catch for 12 yards. Collin Dingsor and Hamre each had one for 5.

Young’s eight tackles and Althoff’s seven paced the Arrow defense. Mason Cordell added five and joined Spencer Stock with interceptions.

Watertown (2-2) hosts Sioux Falls Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Watertown Stadium.
