Amazing footage shows ‘disoriented UFO shot down’ over tiny Scottish village
A clip, which was taken near Kippen earlier this month, appears to show bright orange lights flying in the night sky
AN EERIE clip appearing to show a "disoriented UFO shot down" above a Scottish town has gone viral after surfacing on YouTube.
The video, uploaded onto the UFO Today channel, shows strange glowing lights spiralling and swooping in the night sky above Kippen in Stirlingshire.

Taken on September 1, the clip has now racked up over 29,200 views online.
The video appears to show several orange globes that are shedding and moulting as they fly around and above the countryside.
The clip's narration says that a witness "heard a loud bang" before spotting the lights.
And it's speculated that the UFO could have been "shot down."

The video was uploaded with the message: "This video was send to UFO by a subscriber in Scotland. She lives near the town of Kippen in Scotland.
"On the the 1st of September 2018 she suddenly heard a loud bang outside her apartment. She rushed to her balcony with her camera and she noticed a UFO flying erratically near a hill nearby.

"The object was dropping a lot of glowing material while flying. She did know what this object was, but she was sure this was not something man made.
"It did not produce any sound at all. When I analysed the footage I noticed the object ejected a lot of material."

The man’s snap appears to show the mystery objects floating above a Scotland flag at the American President’s Turnberry site at around 7.55pm on August 16.
Posting on the UFO Stalker website, the bemused golfer said: “My niece was at Trump Turnberry golf course and took a picture of the golf course from the balcony of her room.

“She emailed the picture because I like to play golf, and when I looked at it closely I saw 4 strange disc shaped objects in the background which she said she had not noticed when taking the picture.
“Can you help me identify these ufos? Any ideas?
But it appears the potential alien sighting could simply be a trick of the light, with one person suggesting “reflections of indoor lighting fixtures?”.
