Lorry and car smash into railway bridge in Ayrshire causing rush hour chaos with services from Glasgow affected as driver rushed to hospital
Scotrail confirmed services between Glasgow and Largs, Ayr and Ardrossan are affected
A LORRY and a car have both struck a railway bridge in Ayrshire causing rush hour chaos.
Both vehicles collided with the bridge on the A737 near Manrahead Roundabout near Dalry at 3.50pm.
The driver of the lorry has been rushed to hospital.
Scotrail have confirmed services between Glasgow and Largs, Ayr and Ardrossan Harbour are affected.

Several services have been cancelled or delayed.
Cops have confirmed they are in attendance along with the ambulance service.
