A YOUNG girl who vanished from her Ayrshire home has been found after cops launched a search.

She was described at 4ft6in, slim and with long dyed blonde hair.

She was wearing a red padded coat, black ripped jeans and black Converse trainers.



Desperate search launched for missing lad Scott Roger, 19, after he vanished in Aberdeen


It was believed she could have travelled to Wemyss Bay in Inverclyde.

But officers confirmed this morning she had been traced safe and well.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Thank you very much for sharing our post on 14 year-old Chloe Kerr who was missing from her home in Glengarnock.

"Chloe has been traced this morning in the Port Glasgow area and is safe and well.

"Thank you again for your help in tracing her."

 

We told earlier how concern was growing for missing Aberdeen teen Liam Smith as cops released CCTV images of him.

And the search is also on for another Aberdeen man, Scott Roger, who also vanished from the city.
