A BODY has been found in the search for missing Blairgowrie man Lee Brown.

Brown, 34, was reported missing almost two weeks ago after last being seen at his address in the Perthshire town.

Cops launched a frantic search and have today confirmed that a body was pulled from the River Ericht yesterday.

Formal identification has yet to take place but Lee's family have been informed of the find.

Lee had been described as a "high risk" missing person and walked with a walking stick.

We told earlier how a tragic schoolgirl found dead on Edinburgh's Calton Hill had been named as cops probe her mystery death.

Her body was discovered by a member of the public at around 6.30am on Saturday.

And on Sunday a body was found in the search for missing Aviemore teenager Jade McGrath.
